I been hearing the West coast te&y folks going to quit after they get their back pay.
Anybody on the West side going to do that ?

Not just the west. I'm leaving too. Many others will. Those in HP status now are probably looking for other jobs and will quit as soon as the backpay hits. Gonna lose a lot of great people
I know a handful that likely will. They've all but secured other employment and are only hanging on until this is resolved in the unlikely chance of a Hail Mary turnaround that is favorable enough to make them stay.
We're going to lose some great rails and HR appears to only be letting us hire some real goofballs to backfill.

Nope I already quit! Why stick around for the backpay that will almost certainly have strings attached to it? I can only guess how much I would've gotten after its taxed to death. I've heard stories the amount was going to be closer to 11k for some, and others not so much. I ended the suspense and just quit. There's no reason to stick around and give the company a reason to make it even more miserable than it already is.
I would say out of the 10k people saying they are going to quit. Maybe 20 people will actually quit.
And talk is cheap.
Dont worry about quitting, layoffs are coming.

We have 5 Machinest and 3 Electricians that day they are going to quit after they get there Backpay
