Has anyone else heard of layoffs before October new quarter? Like this week layoffs in mortgage

Usually first couple weeks of Oct but it has been every month this year since April.
When are layoffs typically? Who has been here awhile?
Who got cut in mortgages?
Exactly. Just stirring the pot trying to rile everyone up.
Some people on here have no facts and just spreading negativity
Lot of companies will be laying off. Not just US Bank, and yes, US Bank will make big cuts in October. Just wait for it.
No
Do you think if an area saw cuts in the June round, would they be safe in the October round? How about if a department hired people recently? Doesn’t it seem like they would be safe? Just wanting to hear opinions.
It sounds like you have based on the question. But wouldn't layoffs this week be considered October layoffs anyway, since this week would be coupled with next week for payroll?
