CEMREC is one those musical chairs seats you get the heck out of as fast as you can. In Chevron, you should always try to stay in the strongest org you can find. If they put you in a non-BU, not-strategic, techy service role for diversity, get out of it at your earliest opportunity. The music is about to stop for CEMREC but I hope at least the best people get placed elsewhere or a lavish package.
Just a thought for all who are or might think about making casually cruel and flippant remarks about CEMREC: there are real people with real responsibilities who will be out of a job through bo fault of their own. The whole CEMREC idea was ill-conceived from the start, and those responsible, as usual (MB included) will walk off with spectacular packages, while the CEMREC employees will get r34med once again. People’s livelihoods are at stake here, so if you can’t find anything useful ir kind to say, maybe just shut the h*** up.
Rest in peace (pieces!!) CEMREC. The wreck has hit the wall as expected.
CEMREC isn't being re-orged....it's being dismantled. I guess the original CBRES/EMC merger and subsequent reorg in 2020 weren't that successful. Who knew (other than everyone).
