I am in a dilemma whether to leave TD and go to a competing company or wait for a better offer.
In the meantime, I'm thinking, is there anything that this company is still better at than its competitors? There are many things in which it is worse, unfortunately.

Get a good team is the answer. There are good and bad teams in every organisation. It's a simple equation. Seen a lot jump ship and are overworked and underpaid and thus are unhappy. May as well milk the gravy train for as long as possible
If u fancy doing nothing and chillin till retirement and are ready to roll a bad dice on it - stay. In 2-5 years u and ur incompetent team friends will be looking for jobs as uber drivers as tech has moved on. Who is hiring VHS experts?
Quiet quitting at this salary? Unless you are at the top of the chain and making a lot. I’d prefer quiet quitting at another company.
Other big companies are slowing down hiring, TD attrition will taper down and there will be a RIF forced shortly..
You have been warned.
Silent quit 😎
Stay if you're close to retirement, jump ship asap if you're not
I pondered the same over the summer. I loved the team I worked with and stayed longer than I would've otherwise just because I enjoyed working with them, and enjoyed my customers. I didn't take the competitor seriously at first (far too long selling against them), but my interview process was extended over Winner's Circle and a personal vacation. It gave me the time to reflect on whether I was happy where I was. I ended up taking an offer at Snowflake that was a huge pay bump and title change. The people here have been incredible so far. Kind, passionate about the work and the product, and quite a bit younger overall. Onboarding was incredibly smooth, I love how much strategic importance we put on our PS org compared to how it was treated lately at TDC - I was former PS at TDC before going the sales team. I will be extremely interested to see if Vantage Lake can be successful because I know how many brilliant people are still at TDC, and I hope the best for my old team's sake, but after a couple months of stress over the decision, I'm 100% glad I made the jump.
Teradata has many great teams, but horrible leadership. For me, team is everything. They are the only reason I stay.
