There IS still time for a voluntary. The 2021 VSSP was offered in July 2021. The deadline to accept was September 2nd and the last day worked was October 31. If they do a voluntary in 2022: It can be offered in mid-August, deadline to accept can be October 1st, and last day worked November 30th. Still in time for a December 1st retirement date, for those that are retirement eligible. It's the right thing for the company to do. Care for each other. Do the right thing.

For each statement asserting that there will be no packages there exists another statement saying that there likely will be packages. No one f’ng knows -except maybe Bloomberg by now. F needs to step up. They have destroyed the trust of their employees.
The job a voluntary saves just may be your own.
The right this is to not layoff 8000 people, not give an extra pile of money to someone who is going to retire anyway

I also heard that they are not offering voluntary packages. And August 22nd is the date (supposedly).
