This place close yet ? Pass by it the other day and it was a ghost town in the middle of the work day.
I was there for less then a year, lawl!!! figured it our in 2 months, that place was going now where. I got high IQ, dont mess with me. hahahaha
Where is ADM? I thought more parts were going to be manufactured in Edmonton Completions?

The problem, is you buy cheap parts from overseas but never put the shipping costs onto the parts. Yes they look cheap but add up shipping costs. You will be surprised. They are not much cheaper than US plants
Sad day lot of product passed thru that place. Problem has and always will be was being forced to keep getting parts from Scott, when they were cheaper from overseas. So yes it was only time before this happened.
ADM is a huge plant and needs to be kept fed India also which will probably be cheaper than ADM. problem is the cheaper they make it the cheaper sales sell it.

I really dont think Scotts machine dept gonna stay open past Christmas. Once the last dozen machinist start quitting they wont be able too complete the product line, and will have to outsource the rest to vendors. At that point they will probably let the remaining machinist go. Its sad because those guys gave over 20+ years to this company
Actually surprised they don’t close it early next year. Guess they have to notify all customers on new orders and clear all the backlog. ADM taking most completions is my guess. They are scam artist over there. Talk a good game but horrible execution.
Hopefully the whole place will shut down soon and this tragic forum will too….and the Weeble’s next sh--e is a hedgehog.

Yep, S* O is a Hatchet man indeed. He came to scott, La 18 months ago to close the facility down. Hes a " GBL Optimization MFG MGR" witch means he comes into a shop. And Figures out how too make the parts cheaper overseas. He did it with smile too, god have mercy on his soul
Yep it's TRUE Scott facility will be closing by end of quarter 4 of 2023..
