Any rumors or changes out of the Holiday meetings this year?

1st any store in Colorado is not on process the are all disgusting I work in one
2nd no one said anything about when the regional manager cut everyone’s hours in Colorado because of how much was being spent to fix Denver stores
Regarding getting Denver ready for the meeting.... it has to be the most expensive "get ready" ever. Literally every store in Nebraska and Kansas has had at least one salaried member of management and hourly associates in Denver since may. Every market manager spent time in Denver. Who ever monitors this site from the Home Office should get an audit of travel, hotel and meal expense for the entire region since May. It would blow their minds, and says a lot about the lack of Regional leadership in our region
Well they sure spent a lot of $$$ and took resources from the stores to make Denver presentable. It took 3-4 months to accomplish and people pulled from already short stores!
Are you surprised? Time for new leadership and it starts at the top!!
My store manager who has been attending these meetings for about 15 years told me it was the most uninspired Walmart meeting he has ever attended. Very little information, no vision for the future, and frankly all of the speakers were "flat". He was particularly disappointed in Dougs speech. He offered nothing of value of even encouragement. They did acknowledge they knew inventory levels were bloated, and that freight will be heavy, everyone just needs to have there own plan to work through it. Not very encouraging for the remainder of the year.
Yah well people leads are going salary.
