Allot has changed in the several years you have gone from the sound of it. Hard work at WFM won't get you the max raise kissing your bosses a-s will however. Nothing is done to retain people so it's a revolving door of lack luster employees and the bulk of the work falls on the old timers and people that genuinely want to do a good job.

You guys that believe the union now stuff are all sheeple. Good luck! Mackey is anti union because the union sucks. I left several years ago, but I check in on this site because I put in a lot of years at WFM and I wish it was what it used to be. I used to love it as a team leader when the gainsharing reports would come out. The front end would get 10 cents per hour and my team would $1 per hour because they worked hard as a team.

Whole Foods is so fu----g self-righteously stupid, that they really hand this sh-t to you on a plate.

I've got a final that doesn't drop off until long after my job dialogue is due, so no raise for a year and a half.
Looks like it's quiet quitting for me. Thanks for the motivation.

If people are compensated a livable wage those jobs would be easily filled. Benefits also continue to get worse but profits are up. Why should anyone care or try when they are lied to on a constant basis about how much they are appreciated. The old timers also lived in a different world where housing was more affordable so they don't complain because they all purchased homes back then. Productivity has surged but wages are stagnant over the past several decades. If you go in and do your job you should be fairly compensated. Unionize this dumpster fire as tribute to our former leader who threw us to the wolves and padded the pockets of his freinds who ran the company into the ground.
