If Dell continues to cut the best employees and leaves the ones that hardly work at all, then this company is being self-destructive. And it looks like that this is exactly what is happening, the good employees are the main target?

If you're a white male aged 50+ and in a senior role, get ready for that unplanned meeting with your manager and HR telling your job is no longer needed. Do yourself a favor and record it.
Spreadsheet management strikes again. Older or skilled people are more expensive and get cut.
The other common Dell dynamic is that the people who are actually talented quickly realize they can get paid more to do less in a less toxic environment elsewhere since they are in demand.
This leaves the lowest skilled people who can barely use a computer and do-nothing managers as the only ones who stick around for long.
Once upon a time Dell actually incentivized those talented people to stay, but now they’re a cost to be cut.

I heard the same stories about the company I am workin for. Well, can tell ya - nope it is not like that at all.. And yes I am also over 50, white male and feel great in my shoes and with my coworkers.
Dell made it clear in Moonshot 2030 goals just want minorities and women. If white male better to move on.
I'm over 50 and still employed and we're hiring. I guess we'll see.
