I take that as the ultimate disrespect. Leaving so many employees in limbo to be thinking about layoffs every day, listening to rumors and worrying about when they will have a job, is also inhumane.
Why so little transparency? It seems to me that before everything was much more transparent here.

Ford plan.
- Send engineering to India 🇮🇳
- Send manufacturing to Mexico 🇲🇽
- Keep all MBA job in United States 🇺🇸
- Sake cars to American whom don't design or build cars
- Get tax credits from local governments
It's very good plan but you missing a little thing we will not buy your cars!
I lost all respect for the company when Jim Hackett said we were not going to build cars anymore. Why would you state the company's product plans in a bold statement like that. My dad was the first to ask me what other kinds of car brands he should look at since Ford was out of the car business.. Even though this was a phased process his thoughts were if they quit making cars parts will be hard to find. Now that is pretty silly but I suppose that is what a lot of the customer base said.
I always wondered what my next car would be and I need to thank Jim for making my decision a little easier.
GM did the same thing in 2018
Are you just waking up? They have been treating employees poorly starting with 2019 SRD.
Have some self respect and exit the company. By staying you consent to be treated poorly.
