On Monday the affected departments will receive an e-mail instructing them to work-from-home on Tuesday. Those impacted will receive a call between 8 - 12.
There’s literally 80+ internal job postings right now. There’s no mass layoff coming.
In one week (August 30) another 80 staff will be terminated. Don't believe me? Check with the Alberta Government. The paperwork has been filed.

There’s bound to be right sizing of groups involved in the integration or divestiture of assets but there aren’t any large scale layoffs coming in the near future.
Best way to keep your job is to make no enemies (especially among leadership) and make yourself indispensable.
