All the companies in our industry are the same. They treat employees like sh-t, put profit over everything, promote based on office politics instead of merit, underpay employees, and so on and on. If you want a better work environment, be ready to leave your comfort zone and change industries. Otherwise, you'll just end up in the same situation you've been in again and again.

Agreed with others. This post was left by HR troll.
I quit last year and moved to one of Honeywell's biggest competitors. I got a 30% pay increase, far better healthcare and real bonuses. It is very corporate true, but IT are on the ball, HR are fantastic and.......we have enough budget to actually do our job!!! No coincidence my health has dramatically improved since.
I’ve worked for multinational companies for years. And, so have my friends.
By far. Without doubt. Without any thought. Honeywell is THE WORST company I’ve worked for. When I tell friends some of the stories they are in disbelief.
Benefits: almost double some friends pay in their company
Leave: unlimited leave is a joke - your boss will just say no.
Work from home: lol
Pay: at least 50% less than a lot of competitors.
IT: the most laughable IT I’ve ever come across. The stories are insane.
Buildings: buildings that are old, run down, don’t work etc.
Once I left the sun shone, the birds sung their song. The site was cleaner.
Easily the worst company I’ve had the misfortune of working for.
There is a reason there is a mass exodus of good people quitting.
Oh what poor excuse for retention strategy is this? 🤣😂
Yes, you are wrong. I worked for Honeywell for 37 years and earlier this year left for another major Aerospace OEM (you would for sure know them if I told you) and was the best move I ever made. While it is a big corporation like Honeywell they treat people with respect and work load is manageable. So, looking back I regret that I allowed my fear of leaving keep me at HW as long as I did. There is life out there. You just have to be courageous enough to take the leap.
This must be a joke.
Speaking from experience, you’re absolutely wrong.
What gulag did you come from?
Or customers….imagine having to go to work every day at Bombardier
Written by someone that wouldn't say if they've actually been somewhere else besides Honeywell. I went to Boeing and I can say that it's much better than Honeywell. Doubled my pay and the 401k match is now dollar for dollar up to 10% with immediate vesting. And no waiting until January 31 of the following year for the match to be deposited as company stock. The insurance plans are not slaps in the face either. So many of my former Honeywell colleagues are now Boeing colleagues. I have no plans to ever return to Honeywell unless I need to eat. And it would only be as a contractor.
What industries are we talking about?
What industries are we talking about?
It is the domain of the the treacherous brown-noser who has no useful value to anyone else and will stoop to anything to please his master.
Guess this HR troll thinks so poorly of honeywell that mcdonalds and walmart are competitors
Try Boeing. Same chit, but 20% better pay and much better benefits.
Try Raytheon. Not perfect, but far better than the Honeywell way. Encouraging work from home whenever possible, trying to keep up with inflation using out of cycle salary increases. Unfortunately DEI speak is invasive.
Is this the latest strategy that has been cooked up by the talent acquisition folks?: "Don't bother leaving because we aren't much worse than the competition..." ?
Sounds like a really desperate plea given that the talent has already left...
Manufacturing companies are like that in general
Power greed and control just like the gov
