Source seemed pretty reliable and he told me it was 40+ people who got let go. He also stated that he heard they are letting people go through WebEx meetings.
Take it for what it's worth.

No, customers are not clamoring for EVs to the same extent as ICE vehicles. It is government policy driving the change. Does anyone think their transportation experience will improve when EVs are adopted in large volumes? Fun times at the turnpike Flying J charging station on holiday weekends.
Quit your whining. The government isn't forcing the company to embrace EV's. Customers are. Tesla proved to everyone that Ev's are viable and profitable. The company would be foolish not to expand into this market. Think Blockbuster versus Netflix.
ICE vehicles aren't dead, but the company needs to drastically reduce engine complexity to get costs under control. And unfortunately, this means some people will lose their jobs while at the same time other parts of the company will be hiring people with high voltage experience.
They will finally have a career. If they are little younger that would be the best thing ever happened to them.
I was cut at Ford in 2008 and will never go back.
This company is painfully demoralizing!
I hated every day at PDC dealing with bounch of unsecured mangers worried about their jobs.
Ford still need to let go of the other 7960 useless employees.
It was the Key Fob. Antennas. I knew some of them.
Freight on board is the most recognized acronym
Think Key Fob, antenna's, etc
FOB =Ford of Brazil maybe?
How could it be any other manner (Webex) when we are WFH?
Ford Oval Blue?
FOB? For this layman, can you tell me what department this is? Cheers...
That is true 55 agency people I was told.
