Thread regarding U.S. Bank layoffs

I've never been this tired

Since the latest layoffs and losing more team members, the amount of work we're expected to do has become unbearable. All I do is work, eat, and sleep. I have no time for anything else. Or if I get some time, I have no energy to do anything else but sleep. I might be able to do this for another few weeks before I break. It's inhumane, what they expect of us.

It’s a shame that people that have worked for this company for over 20 years are being booted to send jobs overseas. They have taken the US out of US Bank for sure !!! Just waiting for my cutoff date or a new job whatever happens first. Will never think the same of a company that I used to love. Should have read the writing on the wall when Senior Management left.

Then leave? You work for a bank. There's nothing they can do that qualifies as inhumane. You're overworked, stressed about possibly being fired, and bummed that people you care about lost their jobs. That's not great, but it isn't inhumane. Your employer isn't required to make you feel good. Just find a new job and don't get so emotionally invested in the next company. Bring on the down votes.

I am in onew of the departments they decided that eliminate. One of 137+ people at Elavon/US BANK. Not enough open positions for us all to filter into. Moving our positions to Poland because of cheaper labor I'm sure. Then we get a yammer thread with the people's names who are replacing us. Cannot get severance unless we stay till date they gave! Trying to hold us with a bargaining chip till their need is gone. Then seeing where ONLY in USA and Canada they are raising base pay to $20 an hour. I used to love this company. Their CORE values are not what they practice!

Trust me, I know of several people in multiple departments saying the same thing.
