I feel pressured to contribute to the PAC even though I don't agree with the majority of the politicians that Fidelity supports. I would rather see Fidelity drop the PAC like Schwab did.

What are you talking about? I think they send like 2 emails a year and no one cares.
Who is pressuring you? I find that stuff really cringe worthy - but no one pressures you. I do get the emails and they remind me to keep looking for a new job. No luck yet, obviously.
Worked at Fido 26 years and never gave a penny to the PAC. In the end you will be better off putting it in your 401k. The company will be fine. Take care of yourself, you earned the money keep it.
