We Were Told NO Bonus For Sales Specialist

What a lousy, underhanded, cheap thing to do. Our management said specialists are excluded from the Inflation Bonus! Because we get a monthly bonus. Since the the economy has tanked we Don’t get ANY bonus Marvin. God Bless

I think that it's extremely unfair that a sales specialist does not get a bonus a sales specialist bonus on their sales is typically hardly anything we're not paid properly a cashier at an hourly bonus is going to be given a bonus that is higher than quits within a week or two but someone that's been there for over a year or so that is a specialist that puts in a lot of time and work gets nothing

It said the bonus is for associates.

Specialists are specialists not associates.

It’s really simple. When I made a $300 to $400 spiff for selling a kitchen in appliances. The associates didn’t get a cut of that money. Specialists used to make more than ASM’s that weren’t making bonus.

We all have the freedom to stay or seek work elsewhere. I got a mortgage license and started doing loans. I wanted more money so I worked to find a job that paid more money. Loans are drying up because of rising rates now I’ve got to either tough it out or work harder to find leads.

Sales specialists you can sell. Find a job that pays what you believe you are worth. Almost every company has or needs salespeople.

If I was a specialist and didn't get anything I'd stay in my department only. If plumbing has no one tough.

Seems like sour milk. None of the specialist were complaining on here about getting monthly bonuses when rest of hourly did not get the chance to earn it off their own hard work. They are also not complaining about them making more money per hour and having a higher cap (maxes around 22). Just because it didnt go your way this one instances, inst a reason to pout.

Don't tell lies Ace....the $250 kicker does not start until quarter 3 and the payout this check is for the last month of Q2. I am not sure who you thought you were fooling with this nonsense.

More of that creating friction in the stores between employees, which I think is something Marvin and the Marvettes want. Feeding that desire in higher paid, longer term employees to go elsewhere.

Specialists are hourly associates. We however do not qualify for "Winning Together" incentives so as Marvin's email reads specialists will get no additional monies.

Our store lost A LOT of tenured Specialists when they did away with the "allowance."

I stopped trusting Corporate a couple years into the Nibron-Damlok regime.

It's all a BS show for the media and the public to portray Marvelous as being this great, benevolent leader. All the while he lines his and Tiny Hands Joe’s pockets! CBS said it was also a Retention Bonus. Marvelous can take his job and shove it!

Yes, this bonus program is a rigged sham wrapped into department sales goals which are conveniently modifiable and invisible to specialists. Thanks for nothing, Melvin. We will remember this one Turtle head.

Technically this is not an inflation bonus. For those who didn't get or max out on their quarterly winning together bonus, it's for them. Those who maxed out on winning together bonus basically are get a few dollars more.

So much for REALLY winning together. Between the high SPH's and department targets the monthly bonus they dangle at us are a sham. Many of the specialists have made less bonus money these last two years than the other hourly associates and those of us who have hit it more often or more decently are still just a tad over what the winning together money has been. When you more than double your sales/hr target and still end up with $100 to $200 bonus you know the system is tainted.
