Thread regarding Ford layoffs

Has anyone negotiated their severance in the past?

Let's say your close to a milestone (weeks / months away from a pension milestone for example). Has anyone negotiated successfully to have things rounded up in the employees favor?

No chance. During SRD one person I knew was within 30 days of a milestone - she met with HR multiple times and got nowhere. Celebrate they are taking so long to announce it - every day brings you one day closer.

you sign the NDA if you want any severance at all. No sign, no severance package.

The only negotiatins I've seen are employees leaving and then coming back as contractors.

If they did it would've come with an agreement of non-disclosure so nobody in their right mind would ever admit to it... even on a supposedly anonymous forum. ;)
