Call me crazy, but I'm happy we'll finally know if we're leaving or staying. I don't have anything scheduled for now but even if I do get a call I'll be okay with it. Anything is better than the he-l of the past several weeks and not knowing what's going to happen and when.

Face it...Ford is very aware how much Farley is mistrusted and dirty, in the eyes of the lower ranks. They brought him in to do the hatchett work, take the criticism, and then he'll leave (whether on his own, or the Ford family...we'll never know the coverup story). Be prepared for a new Titanic captain coming by the 1st of the year .
Farley's folly forever to be known at Ford
Farley is loud, arrogant, and feared. The Ford family has a learning disorder where they think these qualities alone are enough to make a great leader.
Farley is on his last leg here at Ford, even CEOs that were liked didn't last that long.
I hear you. Also, we're going to be go through this at least the next two years, if not permanently. It's clear Farley wants no part of the workforce he has now, you and me probably included. Be ready to go through this in the next 9-12 mos and the 9-12 mos probably after that. Once this "transformation makeover" cycle completes, be ready for the next one in which we go through very similar gyrations, chasing the next big lebowski. As somebody said, I don't see Toyota, Honda, and even GM having to constantly parade themselves all over the everywhere, screaming how industry standard and revitalizing their changes are going to be. Just seems they do it as an excuse to keep the restructuring and downsizing machine going.
Me too. Cannot sleep.
