Thread regarding Pearson VUE layoffs

I am totally burned out

This is where I started to hate my job. This company really doesn't know when enough is enough. If it's in their interest to get employees to start leaving on their own then they are doing are great job. Is that perhaps their goal??? Some even accept lower paid jobs just to get out of here. Terrible.

The hours are unwanted feast or famine with no middle ground. Working from 7 AM to late night with no break or working 1 short shift a week. Schedules change on a dime because the company thinks nothing of modifying with short notice.
Are there many people who want to work as TAs that can do this?

The turnover rate is created by management. The employee policies are enough to drive anyone away and were clearly created by people who gave not worked in a test center.

I hope the TA job can be dressed up somehow.

Don’t be afraid to test the waters. The TA job can actually look pretty good if you know how to sell it on a resume/interviews.

Management will complain endlessly about the turnover rate. That’s a problem by and for management.

I can't tell what the strategy is or if there is a strategy. Paying employees as little as possible and squeezing them for the last drop is part of it. I don't know if they're actively trying to drive people away but they don't care if people go. Everyone is viewed as replaceable in an extreme sense which is disrespectful to employees that care about the position and jump through the hoops.
