Chime in on what you would like to see done differently. If you're a contractor, employee, manager, middle manager, VP, a candidate, or other, what would you change to make this company better?

Working at CHC is most definitely akin to being back in high school. Pretty sad.
I earned my annual leave. I need to keep it. I like working from home because I don't get interrupted needlessly.
Lax security will get us hacked.
Engineering leadership steals code and takes credit for ideas derived from others on a consistent basis. If you have to steal from others then you shouldn't be in charge. Give credit where credit is due!
How about pulling their own weight and earning equitable comp...
How about equitable comp between females doing the same job, in many cases >delivering more value, but grossly underpaid comparatively by men in roles lower than >theirs…
Working at Change Healthcare is more like attending a middle school than operating within a professional work environment.

Lay off the bureaucracy so we can get some work done. For every person that contributes to the production of a product there are three bullsh-t jobs detracting from that effort. This corporation is replete with bullsh-t jobs.
Success depends largely on workers talent (and technology which is all mostly commercialized).
Make a “safe place” for your workers - that means take the firings and RIFs off the table, create a sense of job security not just yaketty yak about inclusion. While DEI is important you are not being inclusive when you lay people off. You ruin them and their family. Is that inclusive? I think not.
Fix this NdC and Linda T - else your just talking the talk but sure ain’t walking the walk. If you really want your workers to feel included, just lose the layoffs, make a public announcement to that effect. Only then do you get bragging rights about inclusion. ( And, duh, a happy work force is more productivity and more $$$ for you.)
Don't hold your breath
only a-s kissing gets rewarded so find work somewhere else for serious developers
Eliminate quid pro quo management.
Let us not typecast people as "the serious guy" or "the fun guy" for building teams anymore. Individuals are a great deal more nuanced than that and it is just not right to lock someone into your past caricature of them. Coworkers should also be afforded the freedom to change and evolve over time without being constrained lest they leave in order to find acceptance elsewhere.
Stop pushing this notion that work is family. No, family is family and work is employment! Quit with this bullsh-t resulting in a toxic work environment that has been denounced by countless articles. Professionalism and professional detachment seriously declined because of it. Few of us actually want to be your friend and it's pretty obvious that when it comes to opportunities and advancements that you KEEP IT IN THE FAMILY.
Create job security for employees else watch em leave making life worse for those that stay and will ultimately get the message and also leave. Already happening (a lot) with a lotta knowledge loss and increasing difficulty getting stuff done. Everyone sees and experiences this and clients are very aware as they can detect fear in say account managers.
An option for a year of salary if RIFed, (fired, canned, thrown away, headcount reduction casualty to be not euphemistic,) something that destroys lives, especially for those over 50. Make for security for your peeps and the boat won’t flip over and capsize. Business retention and ability to get more work will be increased.
What’s the old saying? “A happy wife is a happy life” (no s-xism intended) also means a “secure workforce is a productive work force.”
Job security is critical for happiness, and while you know this you probably do not know the fear, anger, and frustration of your employees feelings. This represents a true threat to the company and its product offerings esp in a time of a national worker shortage crisis.

Quit micro managing and stay in your own lane
Quit micro managing
I'm sick of working for no talent a-s clowns in leadership roles.
Retention agreements for the employees would go a long way in stopping the brain drain. I suspect headcount attrition is part of the plan but critical people with deep knowledge are leaving. While that may save $ after the proposed merger, there will be much that can’t be easily done because of loss of knowledge. Optum/United would pick up the pieces but if the deal doesn’t close CHC is a company stripped of its knowledge workers, many who have left or are planning to.
A contract for one year to offset being a “reduced headcount” would help stanch the bleed. Of course, that ain’t gonna happen because this company doesn’t love its workers.
One carefully crafted worker lawsuit will put a clamp down on this good old boy bullsh-t. Plenty of change after that - start by getting rid of all these highNmighty white folk that even white folks can't stand
Quietly Quitting
HAHA Corrupt Healthcare
You should really report that to the ethics hotline. Change Healthcare has government contracts. If you're in Arien's organization then be damn sure to start that conversation off by telling them that you fear retaliation from upper management, as you should. I had a human resource person explicitly warn that I would experience retaliation from management if I made certain practices public that occurred at the beginning of the pandemic. Report it, but CYA!
The corruption is so blatant now as they literally only advance their friends ahead of the merger. People need to wake up and see how they're getting screwed and that includes you newer managers that think your direct reports will get a fair shake for their hard work. wtfu
My technical career is in the hands of non-technical management who see everything through the lens of service industry soft skills. That probably accounts for many of the reports of cronyism and bureaucracy that we see here. People that have never written a line of code on a job in their lives have sole monopoly on deciding what attributes are valued in technical candidates and staff. That should change.
Less wokeness and identity politics, more things that matter - better compensation and better benefits.
I'll take an office, please!
How about more ladies in engineering. Bit of a sausage fest here.
