In Canada I have heard it is 2.5 weeks of pay per year up to a total of 18 months severance. I am also told you can get more by involving an employment lawyer.
Oh you people from Canada 2.5 weeks per year. Your lucky take it and RUN! US gets MAX 8 weeks , he-l if I was in Canada I would get 32.5 weeks of pay or more than 8 months. I love love that!
He-l I might just take the 8 weeks as it would be a lot more than my 401K match
Is any one in Canada going to try to have an employment lawyer negotiate a better severance than 2.5/weeks per year? Do you think there is any point since DXC most likely won't respond?
Re: 2.5 of pay per year of service in Canada
- to a maximum of 78 weeks payout
- 5 weeks of pay per year of service in Canada
Europe's waterways are all running historically low - no way we can pay that much severance
1 or 2 or 3 weeks per year of service depending on your age and capped at 1 year
What country are you in where you got 3 weeks per years of service?
8 weeks for my 25 years of service. Pathetic.
3 weeks for every year of service.
Thats insane, US we get a max of 8 weeks pay
