FYI they are tracking who scans their badges to see who actually goes into the office to comply with the 2 day WFH split. Results to be reviewed in Q4 by execs.

Only HR would be d-mb enough to start tracking card scans in July and August, right after they gave people one year to use up any carryover vacation by next June or lose it! NOT SMART! So employees take extra vacation this summer to try and use up their carryover, and they pull this out if their sleeve and start complaining that nobody is coming to the office? You can’t make this stuff up! Wow!
If it’s such an issue they should be holding managers accountable. Instead, they’ll just cancel the WFH program.
That the kind of person who defends Cenovus leadership. Right there…
Cool story @fnp+1iqnvAoc
Here's another for ya: In fifth grade, I knocked my sister Edie down the stairs and I blamed it on the dog...
I'm with you @2mgy+1iqnvAoc. I was laid off on January 26. While collecting EI, I spent the summer working on my yard. I started work last fall for a MUCH BETTER BOSS. So glad they picked me !!!
Left this company last year. Reading stuff like this makes me even more glad I did!
What’s awesome is they’re doing this at a time while everyone is on vacation during the summer. How does that make any sense?
Your manager is a focal point. If he comes to the office then you should to. But WFH proved to be effective for most jobs do it won’t be easy…..CNRL forces people to go every day to office. Those guys are robots
Your ID is also a Debit card. Did you know that?
Watch how many doors you walk thru.
Not surprising... however all leaders have access to this info if they request it. I know both my managers receive regular emails with all that information... cementing the fact that I work at an adult daycare and work for folks who don't trust the very people they hired. They can also access CCTV footage if they are nosey enough. Pre-covid I went out to lunch and one of my colleagues held open the door for me and I was called into my c**t managers office asking why I took a 3 hour lunch.
Remember to swipe you card even if you are behind a line of people or someone is holding the door open for ya.
