Honeywell follows industry trends. Experience-Age-Knowledge-Value to Org. means nothing to the bean counters. All they see is immediate gain rather then sustained long term growth. Oldies have a target on their back with 20 years with the company and are seasoned contributors for the company. A little slap on your behind for your time and service for a despicable company. Curious, how can they get out of paying severance? 1 week per year serves seems almost too good to be true…
So leave now. Severance is nothing compared to a 20-50% salary bump. Or even better.. retire and come back on n a year as an overpaid contractor.
You can bet honey will try their best to get you out of door without a severance. More money for our incompetent executives who are planning their own exits.
