Thread regarding Mondelez International Inc. layoffs

Know your rights!

As the company management begins to terminate employees as a part of Mission One, before you sign ANYTHING, know your rights. You do not need to speculate about "who" is getting let go, you have the right to know. They must provide employees with information pertaining to age, gender, race, etc.. The EEOC can provide you with free information as to what to ask, you don't need a lawyer to ask these things.
Just an FYI, when Keebler began letting employees go when they were ending dsd (and this is where Mondelez is heading), employees banned together and filed a class action lawsuit that was settled. Employees won some good money.

I'm guessing the point here is discrimination? Great advice! I've seen this so often in the company. I'm gonna ask. What are the perimeters of determining who stays and who goes? Job performance? That's easy to track. The more we ask the more they have to be forthcoming, we do have rights. Let's not make this so easy for them. Safety in numbers people.
