Thread regarding Fiserv Inc. layoffs

Opportunity

I look at fiserv and see nothing but opportunity. From the wonderful new campuses in Ohio and Berkeley to the strong and deft leadership of Frank and Guy, we are on the path to an extremely bright future. We are all truly blessed

Organization has extreme ends. On one side it's on firing spree and on other hand they are hiring privileged ones holding no qualification at all. One such example was brought up recently where a director level person in Texas office managed to hire his wife with no qualification coming straight from a store counter.

Opportunity for poor raises.
Opportunity for no promotions.
Opportunity for bad employee benefits that get taken away more and more each year.
Opportunity to worry about layoffs.
Opportunity for no flexibility of working from home.
Opportunity for leadership not to care.
Opportunity for no corporate phone.

Yeah tons of opportunity.

Obviously the OP hasn’t dealt with archaic systems that do not work. There is no support nor leadership here. Just shoddy firstdata outdated systems and pi-s poor leadership.

How sad is it that Senior leadership cruises this board? And instead taking away opportunities for improvement you just back up in your corner and break out the claws.

Frank is trash and delusional and Guy's just as bad. They're running the company into the ground and the only way they can attract engineers is buying companies via acquihires and then those building their products leave as soon as Frankie B tries to extend his tentacles into their operations.

There is no better feeling than doing video calls in the office while watching over asphalt plant next door.

Now they have engaged LHH and other consulting firms to fill some of the top positions. Pathetic if they cant get VP and director level positions filled

Those "opportunities" are actually unfilled jobs in New Jersey. How many more days until those positions have to be filled? Tick Tock.

The Ohio campus is a few tables with laptop docks on them in a rented floor of someone else’s campus.
Berkeley is still not open. Everyone is rotating in Short Hills.
The rocket launched but fiserv missed it.
