8/29/2022-WacoTrib Newspaper announcing goal of raising employee level to 1300!!.....On hopes of a $3B contract signing.

The only reason management is raising the headcount to 1,300 is to obtain the tax credits from the City of Waco. These tax credits are worth millions to L3 while benefitting the City of Waco to show they have viable and vibrant employment data. Take the current headcount and add in 1,300 more heads. This headcount number will meet the required headcount threshold to qualify for the tax credits.
L3H Waco site management is laughable at best. They only promote the “good ole boys” even in 2022. Don’t take the job. Look elsewhere. Most programs there are behind schedule, over budget and horribly managed. I worked there for many years. It is why I left. Pay is horrible, management looks out for themselves. Any ethics complaints or rebuttal on annual reviews goes directly to your manager so they know. They will have the last word.
They can get their 1300 new employees from the people crossing the border. The company doesn't do background checks and doesn't seem to bother with the security clearance anymore. What's wrong with translating 500 pages of classified material into a foreign language? The company doesn't seem to think there's anything wrong with that. What a bunch of dummies. The contract they've been bragging about is never going to come.
Who in their right mind would want to work at L3H now?
Sure, you can get all of the "HR Fluff and Stuff" stories about how diverse and socially aware this place is, but it's really not.
I saw from the inside what this company is all about and happily left. The salaries and health insurance packages are terrible. The people are all just players in one politically motivated arena.
Yeah they'll be alright. L3 always gets what they need.
