Thread regarding Follett layoffs

Everything is awesome

With our technology failing during rush, IT unable to fix it and the wonderful help we get from our “pros,” I’m about to call it quits. I’ve reached out to the “pros” only to get told I need to find the solution myself. Why do we have professionals if they do nothing?!

Yep. The lack of support and unwillingness to admit the obvious finally got to me. Store Manager for 15 years, I rode into the sunset earlier this year. I LOVED my job but now I’m finding that I love working elsewhere. Be your own hero and find a way out!

How about some of the RCMS people that do absolutely nothing when reached out to. That’s helpful.

What is asinine is sending out emails that soda order fulfillment is behind when the internet goes down multiple times a day. Now they say have a staffer come in before you open or stay after closing to catch up. What employees are going to stay? None at my store. The temps run as fast as they can out the door.

Why do we have professionals if they do nothing?!
Because they have friends in high places that give them good paying jobs?
They NEED the jobs!
