Any San Ramon folks care to report what's going on today? In person meeting with the Stank himself, not being recorded. Meeting is starting in 1 hour.

Repeat, nobody likes Stankey, nobody. You may be an exception to the rule, that's your right. The only question I have for you, are you in love with Stankey himself, or just in love with the idea?
Why would anyone leave T because they dont love Stankey? They wouldn't, he could be replaced with a qualified CEO next week!
He has been making his way to different locations and having non televised meetings at those locations. The one in Atlanta (Midtown) was in May.
I was at the same Stankey Townhall. Shocked the auditorium was filled to capacity. Mostly softball questions thrown at him. Basically listened to him opining with the typical business school jargon that he likes to regurgitate. Too bad it doesn't translate in the real world. The whole time I couldn't help but think that his annual salary is 10x that of the TOTAL audience COMBINED! What do we get in return - a bunch of failed mergers (he blames market conditions which changed) a ton of debt, loss/reduction in benefits and a stock trading below $20. Still amazing to see how many people nod their heads at everything he says.
If so many people don't like him, why are they still employed here. If you don't like the boss, leave. Those that matter , shareholders, and board seem to like him.
Maybe the Stink is finally taking his meds?
To sink with the steel Stink.
Think with the Stink!
I was in attendance for the San Ramon Townhall. The Tahoe Auditorium was completely filled and he spoke for almost 90 minutes, mostly doing Q&A. He tends to be long winded with his answers but did mention he sees a hybrid workforce for most employees and ultimately it depends on your organization and your job. No mention of any future layoffs but I'm sure that is on his roadmap. He was on his best behavior compared to previous town halls I've seen with him but deep down inside most people don't trust him given his past track record.
Stankey is delusional, he actually thinks he is a well respected, popular CEO. What a horrible, nasty individual.
I don't think he is delusional, he is CEO material. CEO's trend to have traits that place those individuals firmly on the psychopathy/sociopath spectrum. One cannot make decisions that cost thousands of people their jobs and their way of living without being disconnected from the emotional toll that includes. This requires a CEO (psychopathy/sociopath) mentality. I'm not saying this is bad, it is just the way it is. Just know what you are dealing with.
Now, is John respected, you have to be kidding me. No one in the company would follow him out of a burning building at this point. He is popular/well known due to his incompetence trying to run a media company. Unfortunately he is the CEO because the choices after Randell was "asked to leave" were thin.
did he deepen his voice? that is the real question

Stankey needs to be run out of town like an overthrown dictator. Too many mouths to feed, your jobs will feel like child birth the next few years, you need to be more like Netflix and produce more of less quality.
Stankey honestly believes that employees want him to visit and speak to them! The reality is that most, if not all employees, wishes he would just go away, never to be heard from again. Stankey is nothing to T rank and file.
