Since they announced the ERGs, I feel excluded and don't have a sense of belonging. Anyone interested in forming a "none of the above" ERG?

What is VIB?
What do you think are the qualifications for the position of VP of DIB? What about the disqualifications?
Yes there really is a VP of DIB and that group will be the last laid off as the company slowly goes down the drain. Unity through diversity, up is down, hot is cold, bad is good, hate is love and 2+2=5.
Is there really a position called VP of DIB? If so, this company is so misaligned with the oil business and should be sold for it’s parts.
So here is an idea. Oxy needs to offer a VSP to all employees that are 55 and over and cover them with insurance until 65, and then we can go on Medicare and cover our own supplemental insurance. When engineers, geologist, and geophysicist, petrophysicist and other technical jobs take it don't stand in their way. That is for every business unit including the GOM, International, L48, and so on. Once they are gone give the VP of DIB the sole job of finding replacements with those she feels fit into one of the DIB groups. Have her put her job on the line that Oxy will not miss production quotas, drilling, or any other technical criteria. If any of those things don't meet the current standards she is gone. Everything else is just talk and virtue signaling. If the VP of DIB and the company feel they need to go the DIB route then fine, but don't virtue signal and put your money where your mouth is. Everything else is just a waste of time and energy. I know many that will take the VSP and head out the door and then she will have an open slate to build the comapny with employees she feels meet the DIB criteria. I don't think they have the guts to give it a try.

What about an ERG composed of people who do useful value added work. It may not have too many members.
