I would NOT advocate "do nothing". Rather, do your required 40 hours, but give no more. Why ki-l yourself and sacrifice family time? The SLT has shown how you will be treated. Treat TMO the same. TMO is just a company you use to get pay and benefits.
I have heard some of my co-workers complain about how much more work they now have to do because so many people are gone and there is so much extra work they now have to cover. Why would you do that? That is just enabling and rewarding the SLT's bad decisions. Is it our fault they laid-off so many people? No. Let them suffer the consequences of their bad decisions. You owe them nothing except 40 hours.
Drink the free coffee, eat the free lunch, and if you're in a position to spend their money, spend as much as you can.
Simple as.
See how long you can get away with doing nothing while you look for a new job. I know I'm just going to hang out, eat the free lunches they offer, and work my bu-t off ... looking for a new job. I hope the network burns.
When a wireline employee leaves the won't back fill. If necessary they will hire a contractor to do the work.
Looks like you may be next on the list. Why not just leave and give that job to someone else?
The minimum is 15 pieces of flair.
I'm just going to keep working as much overtime as possible and take the voluntary leave in the spring. The wireline group has a non expiring voluntary severance package. I bet if TMUS would have offered voluntary to everyone people close to retirement would have taken it. Instead of laying people off.
That's really naive. They do things to meet the objectives that the board and stockholders set for them. Like this large stock buyback thats about to happen as well as the DT purchase of the outstanding Softbank shares.
Same here doing minimum ... too much bullsh-t from SLT.. Job cut is all about protecting their bonus which is 100% stock option
