As this board is about layoffs and tomorrow is Labor Day, it brings this to mind. High on the board's agenda and an item for which King Charles will lose no sleep will be layoffs. Expect there to be a massive mud-slide by mid month, next month. So within the next 40 days? I'd like to share happier thoughts, but it is that time of the year fellow stagecoachers.

As a former WF manager who has laid off employees and who was recently laid off myself , they always seem to happen on the third Thursday of the month. Good luck and be prepared.

Excellent. More layoffs. Wish more former team members would share their layoff experiences.
100 percent layoffs in Sept. Been on calls where it’s been mentioned by execs.
With the recent reorgs of the past couple of months, I expect September and October will bring some major job cuts.
More people know what’s going on than they actually realize. You have to ask yourself, who does that janitor, emptying the waste bins every night in those executive conference rooms really work for??? Did anyone stop to think that perhaps the janitor is bugging conference rooms and offices?
Trust no one.
Now I’m really depressed. I belong to an indispensable team in the company. I should’ve joined mortgage…
Looking forward to hearing from all those souls being laid off.Hope they all sound off on this new wave bulletin board.
That time of the year is exactly right OP. But will Charlie Tuna bring out the biggest axe to date. I think probably so as all he has to do is point to mortgage and economy. Too big of a scapegoat to ignore.
And marketing keeps on hiring …. Funny how the people who contribute the least to the actual running of the bank are the only ones who don’t have to worry.
Given the 60 day notice period and all the year end cash, I have to assume September and early October will have some casualties.
Already started in Mortgage
I heard tech is affected.
