Selling IGS?

Is Honeywell selling IGS? Seems like they sucked as much as they can over 4 years now.

They will suck at least for an additional 5 -10 years profit. They do this with many legacy offerings. Zero investment…

I can see Honeywell try to acquire some company to expand the IGS portfolio cheaply in the next year or so. Robotics and other areas where we are currently lacking.

Nah, 4 years, they are just getting started. They won't sell. This is just part of the cycle. Remember, Intelligrated did its fair share of acquisitions and those companies went thru the same cycle. You'll be further blended into other groups just as other groups will be blended into yours. Intelligrated will continue to fade until it is a distant memory. There are probably people you deal with that were acquired by HON before Intelligrated was. Ask them.

Honeywell apparently. Tried to buy some IGS tech and told resoundingly it was too expensive.
I saw the news about the lawsuits.. IGS has adopted the Honeywell standard of poor sub contractor vetting. Hired somebody to do install at Amazon that wasn’t capable. Nobody did the due diligence and checked them out is my guess. Reverse auction win!

I hope so. But nothing I wish for ever comes true. Honeywell is doing their best to destroy a once great company. I think they will reduce offerings and ship as much of the engineering as possible to low cost regions. Honeywell has already let so many customers walk and they are banned from several Fortune 100 companies that I know of.

Sorry to give the bad news but Honeywell never “sells” its victims at anything more than a fire sale.
Last one I remember was the sale of HTSI government services for about $300M (on revenue of 600M/year). All the employees were immediately fired by KBR. More likely is absorption into a different business unit run by people in a foreign land promising cheap labor will fix everything.
Before you know it IGS will be hard at work revolutionizing dabbawala service.
