I wonder whether our leadership even knows where it wants this company to be in the future. Have they completely lost direction, because that's my impression?

The only direction management knows is to line their pockets with bonus money. Continue to sing the Lego song "Everything is Awesome." Break out their p-m p-m and say they are working as hard as everyone else while at home doing home remodeling and have their kid move the mouse ever so often to keep their Teams online status Green.
Direction what direction, stay stagnant and continue to do nothing. Management couldn't even plan material accordingly during these supply chain issues. How many parts make up an assembly, what are the critical components preventing you from building the equipment you need for your jobs. He-l they can't even count higher than 5 so good luck.
Just transfer all your manufacturing and R&D offshore - problem solved. You guys in the US complain so much.
