Thread regarding Fiserv Inc. layoffs

Got laid off this morning. Getting paid thru end of October then get the severance. If anyone gets a touch base meeting sent to them, beware.

Good luck everyone!

Medical insurance is always monthly, so Fiserv is not doing anything special if medical covergae is until end of current month

Laid off 15 minutes before end of shift today. Received the Touchbases invite. Been back almost 17 years. Paid through the 15th with medical through end of month and severance. Plus, I live in an employee friendly state where you can accrue and rollover R&R. I have 161 hours they need to pay. Since Jeff left things have been going down hill. Angry but glad at the same time. I now have a LIFE with family and friends.

When I was told I was getting laid off, I upset for about a minute if that. The place is a sh-t show and I so wish I could be a fly on the wall once everyone with the knowledge leaves. After Frank and his “leadership team” took over the culture of the company went downhill. It was obvious they didn’t care for the employees or the clients. At one time I loved working for Fiserv, but those days are long gone!

This happened under Patrick Law's business unit, who is now required to RTO 5 days a week.

I know 3 that got laid off today. Told today was their last day and only paid thru 10/15 (plus severance). All remote, all long term

lucky you. Living my dream. Take a break and you'll find something that's not a dumpster fire very quickly. My linked in page gets 4-5 hits a day.

The concept of survivor guilt has actually flipped to RIF envy. Another round of blanket RIF activity further strains the rest of the organization to respond...why would I possibly want to stay here.

Lesson here is to decline any Touch Base meetings…. Got it

Thanks for the kind words. I will be fine. The severance was standard. If you search for "severance" on Fuel you can see the policy.

You are getting paid out a month because of the WARN act. How is the severance?

Conflicting feelings huh? But I have a very good feeling us that are being laid off are going to be better than fine.
