Thread regarding Pembina Pipeline Corp layoffs

Document Control Supervisor Job Posting

Interesting, but not surprising. Shows how mismanaged our group is. The former DC supervisor was laid off in 2020 because her supervisor was threatened by her. She was smarter than him (IR) and ran circles around him (easy to do on a perpetually hungover clown). I am a in DC and it is a sideshow......................

To anyone interested in this position: Run. Do not even waste your time applying. Your footprint and ideas will never make a mark and you are working in pure toxicity. If you have a spine, you will be marked and shown the door. Don't cross an insecure, narcissistic "manager" (IR). Total trash!

It is all cultural for sure. Pembina's DNA. They've also entrusted some 45-year-old sock puppet to run the show. Status quo, folks. Nothing will change.

Facilities division is a mess much like TSU. Senior manager and middle managers are just as nasty and underhanded, and need to be turfed as well. Have noted it’s a cultural thing with most management level personnel in many areas of the company. Some are good, but not many.

Whomever started this topic has kicked up a hornets nest internally and externally. Bravo. Hook the TSU drama in to my veins.

"TSU is a fu----g useless waste of money."

Disagree with that statement. PL integrity (since Greg M balked and walked like a pathetic coward) are integral, as are GIS, project controls (I'll get hate for that).

  1. R. is someone who you could repeatedly steal his lunch money at school and get away with it. Good riddance and hopefully this just the start of an overhaul of that group. Outsource it all. SB: Turf full-time document control, drafting/drawing, systems and then re-hire them as contractors. Millions in savings. TSU is ripe for savings.

Ordinarily I hate piling on someone after they have lost their job but in this case I can't help it. Some points:

  1. Professionals within the company thought he was obnoxious and untrustworthy.
  2. The DC group is a total mess. You read from the PM below. That sentiment is echoed from staff who have to put up with them. The inmates run the asylum and it is trickle down from inept management.
  3. Have heard that during layoffs he (IR) needed to participate in, he smiled and smirked during the processes. During interviews he threw unrelated and oddball questions at candidates to throw them off and assert power. Insecurity.
  4. His best buddy in HR left and that was a final last line of defence for him.
  5. Look at his LinkedIn. He is barely qualified to shuffle paper much less lead a team. He will no doubt charm and schmooze some su---r in to another leadership position (Enerflex, IR?). Rinse and repeat. Total fraud.

Not going to defend him but as a pm I have no use for that team of lazy sloths. Feel sorry for any replacement that has to work with that while being handcuffed by TSU senior managment. TSU is a fu----g useless waste of money.

IR was turfed only weeks ago. New management saw through his schtick and the lack of value he brings and rightfully punted him out. He can stock shelves full-time at Safeway and moonlight as a drunk clown at kids birthday parties. Guy played the internal political game well and snowed upper management. Only took an external hire to cut the fat with middle managers. Hi IR! Twit.
