Thread regarding Intel Corp. layoffs

Problem with quiet quitting

Quiet quitting will not help you maintain skills, which is essentially the most important thing. Pretending to work for a long time actually harms us more than it harms the company.
Some of my colleagues are surprised that I still put in so much effort, but motivations for working hard should be exactly that - not letting your skills atrophy so that you can find a better job. Just saying.

That worked when the company attitude was "Better, cheaper, faster"

Now it's "Shut up, blindly follow, Know your place"

You should take those skills and your excellent work ethic to a company that rewards you for it. If you keep that attitude up at intel you’ll be sidelined as you’ll make all the losers look bad and they’ll conspire against you.
