What bothers me the most is that the employees have allowed themselves to turn against each other in this unhealthy culture. Maybe I'm exaggerating, but I often think that this is what the management actually wants to achieve. Because when we all turn against each other, then we are less focused on how we are all getting squeezed by Allstate.

I did all the "things" - volunteered, worked on committees, led projects, etc. It was never enough. Raises are based on personality, not merit. Worst employer I have ever had. The corruption, being told not to pay, close claims etc... DISGUSTING COMPANY!
It’s a very unhealthy culture and has been for quite some time. As for the woke culture…I can’t say I disagree. As a leader in middle management for 13 years, I did everything I possibly could for this company, working on extra projects, working tons of hours, and still continued to get passed over time and time again for promotions. When I finally had enough and put my notice in, they rejected the notice, and didn’t pay me. They hired someone with very little experience who I’m already being told isn’t equipped to handle the job, but hey, the person fits certain “qualifications”. The more I hear about this place, the happier I am that I left!
Don't plan a raise or promotion unless your woke or a minority.
