Thread regarding Xerox Corp. layoffs

Outstanding Commissions and Bonuses

Let me start by saying this: I am very aware that I make good money but I'm confident anyone you speak to from back office, to drivers, to technicians would agree I deserve it for working so hard.
Currently as a result of having 1/10 of the sales people we had 24 months ago, not to mention the service and back office folks, more deals have come to the few that are left. Because of the backlog of equipment, I'm owed over $100k of which I'm starting to think I will never see. I have orders from 2021 that still aren't delivered! Those signed orders will have a birthday before the client sees their equipment. I've spoken to sales reps in our division and other markets, and it seems every senior rep (including tigers) is owed at least $50k. Two notes to view this. When they finally get paid, most of them will leave as they are only staying for unpaid money. Once they leave there is no recovery of that client base.

Paying out comp with no D&I? That’s a great best practice. They should also give you a unicorn you can ride to work on the rainbow highway.

Send a note to Steve B. Seriously. the company SHOULD be paying on orders that have been on file for 6+ months.

Ok, who the F with any self worth is still working for the devil called X and what desperate companies are still buying their equipment?
You're never seeing that $100k, you know that, right??

If you’re such a sales hero why are you still at xerox? Surely someone so hard working with amazing kung-fu and spoon bending capabilities would be highly sought after and richly rewarded at a real tech powerhouse.

Hahahaha, our major accounts people and their managers are not charismatic, smart, attractive, funny, or anything but they keep the juicy accounts for themselves so that's why salespeople might be 1/10 and sales is a revolving door. Are they all related, take dr-gs together, swingers, pawned their dignity? I don't know what it is but it's definitely not based on merit.

Sales is such an easy job right? Just go and write orders from the MIF assuming the customers aren't yelling at you as you try and defend the gutted service organization. If sales is such an easy job and entitled job there are many positions open - how about you apply for one of these great roles?

Back office, to drivers, to technicians would agree you deserve… the long slow golf clap and a lean six sigma yellow belt.

Oh noooo! Everyone stop what they’re doing and make room in the orchestra for the world’s smallest violin solo! Super entitled xeroid sales narcissists are n’t getting their Kwan bucks. Net new logo much? Nope…1/10 the sales people mean they’re gorging on flipping MIF accounts that used to belong to laid off reps. Keep in mind it’s not 1999: your flirty schmooze and SPIN skills aren’t valuable anymore. Be grateful for your order taking xerox gig and thank your lucky stars you’re not tech, warehouse, admin.

“They have your money. They could pay you.”

Doesn’t work that way. Customer pays when delivered and accepted. Until then they do not have your money and owe you nothing.

They have your money. They could pay you. They could get the equipment. They are using the money instead to fund their new diversity group. Which corporate person took a pay cut to help the company? None? Isn't that sad? You should be outraged.

The sale is not complete until the equipment is delivered and accepted by the customer. You are not owed commission until that time.
