Thread regarding T-Mobile layoffs

There is no way to make your job safer

All one can do is try not to get too exhausted, because that is not valued here at all, and in the meantime look for other options. I have convinced myself several times that there is no way to make your job a little safer... At least that's my opinion, but maybe there are those who think that there is a way?

Staying at TMO is really stressful. Most companies layoff when times are challenging. It’s understandable. TMO does layoffs during record profits. They clearly are looking for short term gains and stock price. Some day there will be no more goodwill and TMO will die like Sears. As TMO doesn’t care about employees or customers, run to other employers. Enjoy having your work life balance and not having stress on your head.

Does not matter whether it is your choice to leave or your employer gets rid of you.
Save money.
Get out of debt as much as you can.
Downsize and /or budget.
Put your resume together.
