Who is Tori and what has she accomplished? Sounds like another one of Billys know it alls who pretends to like folks until they are laid off then blames someone else.

Everyone's scrambling - wrong ppl laid off. Remaining ppl are cheaper, don't do anything and have no knowledge or skills to fill gap. Unbreakable cycle of losing clients and resulting layoffs. See what SS&C has done to BU in 4 yrs - will it even be around in another 2?

SS&C should have figured out how to sell the health business to another vendor who knows health - it's not in their core operating expertise. Sorry for those that lost their job.

How many times have we seen Tori pretend to like someone one day and blame them after they are gone. Now that DD is gone she is just waiting for her payout. I will do my best quiet quitting while I am still here I am too close to retirement am just coasting.

The irony of layoffs is the people that get laid off come in and do their job. The managers whose job is to make good company decisions or client facing folks responsible for generating arevenue aren't impacted enough.

It was not based on performance many people I talked to were on track to exceed and/or put up for promotions.

I heard that Tori basically said they will concentrate on their top 10 companies, list to come out sometime Wednesday. They will be sunsetting MHC and MHS, so I guess the top 10 are in STEPP and the cr---y Amisys? How can a company do business with clients, take their money and then just not support them for what they are paying? I hope every single client starts to leave them and that everyone starts to jump ship before it goes down.

And to the prior post, the last layoff in June management was not asked either about who to let go. My boss had no clue about who was let go till the person laid off told them. So all about the bottom-line. Yeah don’t know how will survive when all SMEs are let go or moved. Moral can’t be good there now.

Was it mainly in support services or were other areas hit too? Client Support seems it was decimated with many tenured SMEs let go.

So yeah, Tori pretty much held a Town Hall meeting to fill us in on today's lay-off. Anyone that believe that they made their decision based on performance reviews is nuts. I have never seen a performance review where skill sets where listed, let alone rated. If a manager had an associate that was performing poorly, why the he-l where they allowed to remain with the company this long? How do they hope to become a 600 million dollar company in 5 years if they keep gutting the company of SMEs? Apparently, management was not asked to provide any input into who stays and who goes which makes no sense. So Domani and Retirement Services needed bodies and so the solution was to pull resources from the already thin support teams to fill the positions. Why didn't they just hire consultants like they have done with Domani? SS&C senior management doesn't have a clue how to run a health & pharmacy business. I expect more customers to term within the next year.
