The leaders of Exxon's Global Project company literally listed a United Way auction item, asking for donors to bid on the privilege of driving members of the Projects’ leadership team around in a cart while they golf. These genius tone-deaf leaders posted an auction item for their staff to bid on the privilege to drive their golf cart while they golf. Plus the donor has to use personal vacation.

Perfect team for that, the only people progressing in Global Projects are Yammer Leg Humpers. Supply and demand!
Hey! I bid $200 to wipe DW’s a$$. Will that be enough to win?
@huj+1jALmCfQ
Agree. Serving ethnic food while having no connection to an ethnicity is simply tone deaf on another level. These P and VPs have no clue!
What is even more sad is the people who bid on these. Self identification of those wanting to wh--e themselves out in hopes of becoming a HiPo
And these are the people that make business decisions in the corporation!!!
That is hilarious. What a bunch of arrogant @ssh0les. What is it about this Company and the constant need to create class and hierarchy distinctions? Someone missed their Management 101 training.
I quit doing united way when they quit 401k. Why should I donate at work so they get all the glory? I give at church
This post made my day. Thank you OP
Last year used office chairs brought in 10x the bids of this stuff.
They had no friends
Only if I can buy their lunch too!
If you are person of color, please bid on it and sue ........ this seems like a great opportunity to retire early with your pension topped up
Just driving? Not golfing? No fn way they can be that stupid, right???
VPs and their LTs are always asked to put things up for auction. Without those “experiences” there isn’t really much to the auction at all. Just know the VPs loathe it as much as everyone who laughs at the auction items.
They don’t want to be stuck with a rando for 18 holes of golf either. And they sure as he-l don’t love the idea of randos in their homes.
It’s true, but the “winner” doesn’t have to take a vacation day to do it, the day is given off. Search “Park and Putt” on the auction.
Reminds me of an UW auction when I worked there a few years ago to eat at a chef-prepared dinner at the VP’s home. So self-serving and awkward.
Yammer leg humpers will bid high for some ch a brown nosing opportunity.
Really, your joking.
Wow …
