Most of Greenville's repair work will be heading overseas! Not a surprise.

I'm sure they'll do a better job than the USA minions.
@1lqa+1jBSn6qL, my apologies if I came across the way you suggested. my point is simple, what arrogance we have as American's to think we have the right make gen's in the US for India, etc., why wouldn't their citizens demand the work!
1act+1jBSn6qL Agree! Investors too busy with lots of money quickly on short term gains, when we all know patience on long term gains pays more in the long run. So much money wasted in corps opening and closing while the workforce has to jump from job to job to follow their “lots and quickly NOW!”. They need to pull up their greedy little pampers and develop some integrity as adults when it comes to profit over people.
2nir+1jBSn6qL If you are more concerned about moving a 3rd world country forward more than your own USA, then u need to move there along with all the politicians that are suppose to be looking out for our welfare not their’s.
Go read the US defense strategy, Google it. They don't talk about baseload they talk about wind. So big banks are going to fund renewable projects not baseload projects. Baseload: gas and steam turbines, 3rd world country deals. Selling 1 H class to Florida isn't a big deal where there is a FSA in place. Selling 10 in 10 years to Indonesia with brand new 30 year FSAs is cuz makes a lot more money and increases the backlog for the spin. Below is correct local content is a really big deal in the US local content is now renewables, Pensacola, Towers and Blades. Local content in the 3rd world is gas. It's just math boys.
We move work overseas to win jobs that we wouldn't win without having a local work presence. So it's a 2 way street isn't it....not only are we providing jobs in those 'socialist/slave labor' countries but we are also providing them the resources (power gen equipment) so they can expand, and maybe develop their own defense industry.
The real danger in moving jobs offshore is that you accept the political risks associated with the country receiving the work. We explained this when you moved so much investment to communist china. Are you stupid? Do you hate human rights? Keep sending work to slave labor countries. Do you think Turkey is a good choice? Who is making these penny wise pound foolish decisions that are moving us towards WW3. Nobody with any knowledge of history condones this foolish behaviour. Invest in the free USA. Dividends will follow.
@agi+1jBSn6qL, We are not talking about socialism or capitalism here big guy, we r talking about your total inappropriate happy comment to another loosing their job. Big difference little di-k.
@agi+1jBSn6qL, you need to move to a socialist country, private businesses exist in the US to make a profit, employees are free to leave or stay. Investors rule the day, "little one"
szp+1jBSn6qL Well, I’m sure the hourly workers and their families want to hear from a snob that you are happy with them loosing their jobs. You are not suitable. Obviously, you must be one that’s always inappropriate when it comes to timing and places. Go work for your Superior, you have lots to learn about life in general.
Good decision for the shareholders. I approve :-)
Yup no GE training anymore Services is dead. . .......only factories nothing else after the spin .
