It’s too secret so many already know. Biggest layoff ever with new ways to sc--w people out of any compensation. The best thing to do is stop working and lay low. You will probably not be compensated for any of your work this month so why bother?

Cleo Booker is back as VP of Care Advocacy and Behavioral health
Town hall was Nov 8 and 9 by danette hurst. Over 60 director and above were let go three weeks ago including mike O’Malley , Chad , and Cleo booker. Director of afterhours just bailed for a new job and anyone with sense is putting applications out. Over 1300 care advocates in ECS (enterprise clinical services) at Optum. Let’s be for real, how many do you think will remain want to stare integrated into UHC’s operation? I can see after hours, intake, and admin Teams gone. Hopefully telestar will disappear into dust!
When did this recent town hall take place and who all was invited? My team which we are apart of ECS were not informed about this meeting. I hope this doesn’t mean we will be laid off.
Will this affect UHC side too? I’m in customer advocacy (call work) and feel like my role could be affected.
I am still wondering how EAP will be affected under ECS? They changed their call model and want to count handle time down to seconds. I know Chad and Cleo are gone but wondering if any VP’s, Managers of EAP specialists were laid off since the reorganization or it still may be coming
This is a n@sty company. I would NEVER refer anyone to this toxic he!! h0le! Layoff is a way to give you a better life with a company that appreciates you!
What’s ECS?
ECS is probably going to layoff hundreds of care advocates due to reorg. Announcement today in a town hall with no promises of job security. What an awful company!
