Thread regarding U.S. Bank layoffs

Micromanagers and RTO

I am sick of the RTO and my is manager consistently bugging me to be a part of it to show leadership spirit. Can anyone tell if RTO will ever get reversed for the bank? If not, I have to look for a different job.
My work in the bank takes a lot more than just 8 hours/day, and the RTO is taking a toll on my mental health. Additionally, the pay here is far lesser than the number of hours of work.
Are all the teams coming back to office? What about people who were hired under a remote job profile ?

Just stay home and when your manager asks you to come into the office ask them in writing ✍️ “Is my coming to the office a condition of employment?”. If you’re feeling extra sassy CC your Talent Consultant. AC said that this is not a mandate, who are the managers to say otherwise?

People hired under a remote job profile are staying remote. Your manager will have to request for you to be recoded as remote which might be a tall task given that someone high up the food chain has to approve. Will the company walk back the three day RTO? Maybe if there’s another pandemic. Since three days per week is not mandated by the company (yet, anyway) then enjoy working remotely as long as you can.
