We are facing end-of-year hiring freezes in the majority of companies, holidays are just around the corner, and with layoffs happening left and right, the competition for the leftover good jobs will be fierce. I'm praying daily that we are done with layoffs for the year. I don't know how things will look in 2023, but right now, another round would be a disaster for many of us.

All speculation or is this valid information
Large surplus calls begin tomorrow.
Layoffs definitely inbound
Only snake back stabbers survive layoffs.
Hope is no strategy for layoffs. They will continue at regular intervals, not in mass, in precisely targeted areas outlined by the consultants T hires and has used for decades. Don’t expect watershed numbers ever…simply because T likes to shield the street from the attrition. Prepare for your next career or employer because you simply can’t live a normal life looking over your shoulder every day. Making it to Friday and celebrating no layoffs only to reach Sunday dreading the upcoming week is no way to live. Take your skills and find a company that has a long term plan and values you…that’s the way to thrive….
It's the most wonderful time of the year. Some let the c suite know.
"competition is good for corporations. weeds out the weakling's and keeps the strong smart back stabbers. i know alot and if caught out in public are the weakest. world we live in cowards."
another one of the many paid-posters on this site just trying to keep threads and traffic going. Most of the posters on this site have no idea about the companies they are commenting on. Given the incoherence, I'm assuming this guy is an off-shore paid poster.

You "know a lot," except how to craft an even remotely coherent sentence. Seriously, WTH does this even mean? Lay this guy off, please.

Why would anyone not have built up a savings account knowing T's environment during the last decade?
I agree with everything you point out in your post. However, the company looks at one thing related to headcount reduction- does positively impact the financials. The company doesn't account for timing, personal impact to employees or anything else. As has been said many times in the past, "it's about the money stupid". The quote is not directed at the OP.
