Meeting with a consultant?

Is anyone else out there having to interview with a consultant about your job with Optum? It's been my experience that this is almost never a good thing.

The whole place was a clown show to the world. Imbeciles repeating corporate mantras, slogans, waving flags, and screaming. For what? It's over boys and girls. just smile and do nothing and tell those corporate overlords what they wanna hear. smile alot nod clap repeat

My dept had a series of meetings last year. I believe they are trying to figure out how to operationalize and reduce redundancies with the goal of reducing cost. Some fancy phd from California held the meeting.
