I took a job with Cenovus 8 months ago and everyone is miserable here!
Then I’m told to check out this website and I’m now in shock. Is the culture this bad in other groups ? I think I made a mistake..

Positive about the future? Do you watch the news? Your industry is being phased out. If you are young, tech is the future as well as clean energy. Take your skills and run. CVE will only make you slower, d-mber and angry. Eight months. Really? CLT good? Someone’s sniffing glue.
I never heard of this website til I joined Cenovus. Take it with a grain of salt as it’s pretty toxic on here. There are outstanding people in this company who want to do the right thing, and that includes some great leaders at the CLT level. Seek out the people who are positive and like minded about the future and champion the culture you want. That takes courage as its easier to fall into the negative but all of us have a good set of guts working in a bo-m and bust industry so we can get there :)
