Any word on the US salary program manager meetings taking place? Are they teaching us how to break the bad news to folks but make it seem like we should just be lucky to have a job?

There is no way it will be 10%. Standard and normal projection would be 3-6%, lower for low performance categories. If promoted, then yes 10% for sure. There is downward pressure for cost cutting and staff reductions despite record earnings for the foreseeable future.
If it is sub 10% for the majority of people it is not “good”.
