Thread regarding AT&T layoffs

Are you still using Q?

Oh I have Tea to Spill!!! There are still some offices using Q chat. My manger had me pull down the history.. and wow—- people are going to be fired. Asset is looking into it and they are talking about the police…. I can’t believe the stuff people say using company property. Don’t you know they are always watching K?

Don't forget. ATT also uses speech to text on all of your phone calls on COU devices and any employee discounted lines. Director and above can access these to check for insider training and any official complaints.

Q was supposed to have already been retired, so if id--ts are still using it instead of Teams, of course they will monitor and put a stop to it. And if people are speaking of workplace violence on it, as OP clarified, well, they're gonna get fired, which is great for all of us.

Retail stores once had Q if they wanted it, but didn't use it to the extent Care did.

People, expect that every single thing you do while at T is being monitored, recorded, and will be used against you the second they need another 'reorg'.

This goes for Q, email, keystroke logging on any work computers, all data (calls, apps, texts, websites) for mobile devices, and even web traffic on your personal devices if you're using the T internet connection. Not to mention likely video surveillance for people at call centers (monitoring your time away) and anyone at a store or popup.

If you don't think T is involved in intricate, intense, and constant spying, you're just deluding yourself.

Never used Q or teams, and never will. No need for any of it.

Our team used Q, and if idle, our 2nd level sent a text and asked why we were not at our desk. If at lunch, break, or restroom; we had to change status to not available. He tracked this. He must not have any real work to do.

Because T is trying to clean house without paying surplus- so they are finding ways to do it. Watch out!

I thinks it’s a call center. I didn’t get to read it all… but something about violence in the workplace. I thought everyone knew by know- you never say stuff on company devices!

do you mean Q chat from the COR stores? Didn't even know stores used Q. I had to use it in business sales when we had questions for the service managers or post sales/pre-install teams for things like MIS install or PRI to BVOIP cutovers, customer circuit install to data center, etc... the only issues that came up with our Q chats was bad language, nothing for asset protection team.
