Thread regarding Intel Corp. layoffs

Black Friday

Intel’s fall from leadership is so easy to see upon reflection and also with a little common sense obvious to see recover isn’t going to happen with government money or not.

Singular focus on x86, every attempt to diversify or acquire any complimentary business a total failure not to mention the hundreds of billions wasted and after that still no diversity.

Spectacular incompetence and failure of LTD to deliver 10nm and 7nm losing technology leadership and complete disruption of the product roadmap for four years. No way five nodes in four years is coming, LOL.

In addition Intel loss of manufacture leadership, cost and scale making all their internal products uncompetitive. Foundry now the leaders in scale, cost, and technology giving AMD, Nvidia, Apple, Qualcomm PPAC superior over Intel. Foundry owns this with such a lead Intel has little chance and why Intel’s revenues contracted while the rest of the industry had explosive sales and profits these past couple years.

Imagine how ugly in a recession it will be! Layoffs are just the top of the iceberg!
